COVID-19 rapid serology testing - now available

We can now conduct a pin-prick blood test to check if you have previously had COVID-19 and developed antibodies to it.

The test delivers a result in 15 minutes, and costs $99. No Medicare rebate is available.

For the safety of our staff and other patients, we will only be conducting the test on patients who do not have currently any COVID-19 symptoms. In addition, your COVID-19 symptoms must have began at least 11 days ago to ensure the test can provide an accurate result.

If you currently have cold or flu symptoms, you should instead book a phone consult, and we can refer you to a pathology centre for a nasal and throat swab test (or you can isolate for 14 days and then have the rapid serology test once you have recovered).

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO OUR CLINIC WITH COLD OR FLU SYMPTOMS.
